Colouring

The correct advice on colouring can enhance your look and give you the confidence to shine, as much as your hair.

Living in a world that can be dull and boring we can help you feel as if the colour you wear is better than the colour you were born with. our team of colour geeks can guide you through what type of colour is best for you, how best to achieve the looks you want and how to maintain it.

We can enhance, cover up, and change the tone. Make it lighter brighter or softer. Transform or blend. The choice is yours but we’ll always share our expert advice, because we know what’s in and what’s not, we know how to achieve certain looks and most importantly – we know how to avoid disasters.

With a Matrix educator on site, we have our own personal expert to advise and guide. And in a salon that believes that ideas are the way forward – don’t be surprised to get a second opinion. The decision is ultimately yours, you are in control, all we ask is that you listen to our advice, before making your decision.

Permanent colour: Grey coverage darkens, up to 4 shades of lift.

Semi-permanent colour / Tone on tone: Lasting up to a week for true semi-permanent, adds tone and shine. Tone on tone lasts up to 48 shampoos. Tones, darkens and gives shine, helps balance out colour without extra stress on hair.

Highlights / Lowlights: When packets or foil is used to separate out the pieces of hair and stop the colour blending or smudging through the rest.

Bleaching: The lightest you can go. No other colour will give you this type of lightness.

Balayage/ Ombre: When colour is placed where desired and painted through the hair for a shading effect.

Colour correction: Anything that involves a change in what you already have to fix colour that is already on the hair. It can take 45 minutes or all day.

**Due to the complexities of a colour correction we will need to see your hair first.
